A New Image

Futu developed a new communication strategy for the Solar brand. Our efforts encompassed the redesign of the website and the creation of a new visual identity. Founded in 1989, this key player in the local fashion industry approached us to help refresh its image in a way that would mesh with the brand’s philosophy.

We started the rebranding process by creating a new visual identity. The refreshed logo comprises two elements that reflect the combination of Solar’s traditional and modern approaches. The image overhaul covered everything from tags to promotional material and packaging.

For the communication stage of the process, we redesigned Solar’s website, and continue to run an associated site that features architecture, art, fashion, design and lifestyle content.

Adding to the brand’s informational and visual value is Solar Magazine, which has been published in print with each new collection since the F/W 2013/14 season.
